Home >> Barbados >> Climate The weather is mostly sunny and fair in tropical Barbados, with an average of high daytime temperatures of 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit (24 to 33 degrees Celsius). Night time temperatures average 76 degrees Fahrenheit, 23 degrees Celsius. These hot conditions are cause by it's geographical location and the prevailing cool northeast tradewinds. There is a dry and wet season. The dry season occurs from January to June and the wet or hurricane season begins from June to October. ![]() Hurricanes, however, usually miss Barbados, again because of it location. Instead the island experiences the some spectacular tropical rainstorms. These are usually short and heavy spells that dry up quickly. The driest months are mainly December - May. From June to November, they are many rain showers which are welcomed by farmers and the people to cool down from the hot sun. They and can last simply a few minutes or even a couple hours. |
